Tailor-made alpine getaways with a personal touch.
Born in East Dulwich, growing nation-wide.
A ski trip that started with friends, and keeps growing.
We’re a boutique travel company that started with one simple goal: to create a family-friendly ski trip for the Dulwich area. What started with 60 parents and children has since grown into a series of Alpine getaways - for families, professionals, and anyone looking for an unforgettable and well-organised escape to the mountains. We take care of every detail, working closely our with trusted partners in the French Alps to deliver memorable holidays.
Whether you're reconnecting with family or meeting like-minded individuals, we make it easy to enjoy the mountains - without the planning hassle.
Our Trips
The heart of our story.
Our flagship trip began in 2024 when the founders’ children’s school discontinued its annual ski trip. Seeing the gap—and the opportunity—they stepped in to create something new: a ski getaway where Dulwich families, both old and new, could make lasting memories together. What started with 60 people in year one grew to 110 in year two, as word spread and more families joined the tradition.
With many already signed up for their third trip in a row, Dulwich Family & Friends is quickly becoming a cherished annual event.
Dulwich Family & Friends
A getaway for the active, social, and slope-curious.
Our newest trip launches this February, born from the community of one of our founder’s Central London gym, 24N Fitness and CrossFit Liverpool Street. Designed for adults and couples, this Alpine escape blends adventure, relaxation, and connection—whether you're carving down black runs or just in it for the après.
Smaller in size but big on atmosphere, it’s the perfect mix of mountain energy and city spirit. Skiers, snowboarders, and socialisers of all levels welcome. Details to be released soon.
Liverpool Street
Tailored experiences for families, teams, and private groups.
Our expertise goes beyond our flagship trips. With local connections in the Alps and a background in luxury wellness and family travel, we’re well-placed to create exceptional bespoke ski experiences—whether it’s for a corporate retreat, a private family getaway, or a small group of friends.
We handle every detail, from logistics to perks you won’t find booking alone. If you’re after a high-quality, low-stress trip built around your needs, we’d love to hear from you.
Bespoke
Why Family and Friends Adventures?
-
Bespoke, Authentic Approach
Our trips are thoughtfully curated but never one-size-fits-all. We're adaptable, responsive, and we genuinely care that each and every person has an unforgettable experience. With our team on the ground throughout your stay, we're there to ensure everything runs smoothly—and to step in if anything needs adjusting.
-
Local Knowledge, Trusted Teams
We work year after year with the same incredible local partners—from our charming hotel to our experienced (and famously fun) Italian ski instructors. These relationships mean everything runs with precision, care, and a deep understanding of what makes a trip special.
-
Community Beyond the Slopes
Our trips don’t just bring people together—they build connections that return home with you. Families and individuals have left with new friendships that continue back in their local London area and everyday life. In a world of digital distractions, our trips offer something rare: real community, built through shared experience.

Absolutely! We’ve had lots of first-timers join us, and they’ve loved it. We offer excellent beginner lessons for both adults and children, and you definitely won’t be the only one starting out. There’s also no pressure to ski all day, every day. You’re free to dip in and out, take breaks, or just enjoy downtime at the hotel or in the nearby villages.
-
Plenty of non-skiers join our trips, whether they’re accompanying family or coming solo. The hotel has a beautiful spa with a sauna and hot tub overlooking the mountains, plus lots of cosy communal space for reading, working, or relaxing with a coffee or glass of wine.
For something more active, we organise snowshoeing hikes with a local guide, which are always a hit. You can also explore nearby villages like Arcs 1800, 1950, and 2000 by shuttle, or take the funicular down to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the town at the base of the mountain.
If you're feeling adventurous, activities like snowmobiling, dog sledding, and paragliding are available too. That said, many of our non-skiers are happiest catching up over a few Aperols at the bar, watching the action unfold on the slopes.
-
We stay in Arcs 1600, at a four-star, ski-in ski-out hotel just a few hundred metres from the lifts. Right outside are supermarkets, boulangeries, and restaurants, and nearby villages like 1950 and 2000 are easily accessible—even if you’re not skiing.
The ski area offers over 200km of pistes reaching up to 3,250m, with most of the skiing above 2,000m for excellent snow reliability. There are great beginner-friendly slopes and plenty of challenging runs for experienced skiers and snowboarders.

Travel isn’t included. We recommend flying into Geneva, Grenoble, or Chambéry, where you can often find good deals from London if you book early. For transfers, many of our guests use Alpine Fleet, a reliable, cost-effective shuttle that drops you right at the hotel. Private or shared transfers with other trip guests are also an option if you'd prefer a bit more flexibility.

We welcome lots of families with babies or toddlers who aren’t quite ready to ski yet. While we don’t offer babysitting directly, there’s a fantastic local childcare option, accessible by shuttle bus: Le Yéti Camp in Arc 1950. It runs Sunday to Friday, from 9am to 5:30pm, with both full- and half-day options, with or without lunch. Their days are filled with fun, age-appropriate activities like snow walks, igloo building, sled races, snowball fights, drawing, and indoor games. Of course, you’re also welcome to keep your little one with you during the day if that’s what works best.
Children can join ski lessons from age 4, and we provide a chaperone for the youngest skiers in the group to help them settle in. Thanks to the community feel of the trip, childcare is often easier than expected—there’s always a helping hand nearby and plenty of support from other families. As they say, it takes a village! We’ve even had grandparents join the trip to help out, and they enjoyed it so much they’ve come back just for the fun of it.
-
Yes, definitely. While group lessons are included, we can also arrange private instruction through our partners at Supreme Ski. Just let us know at the time of booking whether you'd like a one-on-one session for yourself or your child—whether it’s for one day or the whole week.
-

Yes, you’ll need to organise your own travel insurance. That said, Carré Neige insurance is included with your ski pass and covers mountain rescue, including evacuation if needed. You can read more about what’s covered [here].
-
For the Dulwich trip, we recommend booking as early as possible. Final booking deadline is end of September, but spaces often fill up before then.

Not at all! It’s completely up to you how involved you want to be. Some people love mingling with others families, especially those they know from their children’s school or from previous years. Others prefer to enjoy quality time just with their family, take things at their own pace, and make the most of everything being organised for them. It's your holiday—so you do it your way.
